1.Dhalo

2.Dekhni 



This is another popular folk dance of Goa which you will come across various places in the state, talking about the unique name of the dance form, the word Dekhni literally translets to bewitching beauty in the konkani language. 3.Fugdi

Though this folk dance of Goa is quite popular it is not as easy as it seems to be. This dance form requires the performers to continue swirling until one eventually gets completely exhausted and sits down. 


4.Kunbi Dance


This is one of the earliest discovered folk dances of Goa. It is a dance form was mainly performed by a early settlers of Goa. This folk dance is even named after the early settlers who were known as 'Kunbis'. They are basically a sturdy tribal community, usually belong to the pre - Portuguese era. They have more  of a social element in themselves rather than the Regilious sentiments. For performing this dance, the women dancer dressed in their traditional attire which adds color and life to the dance form. 

How is dance performed? 
The performance for this Goa folk dance is bit complicated because in it the women dancers have to move very elegantly when the music and rythem at which the is performed has quite an fast pace. 


5.Goff


If you were thinking that all of the folk dances of Goa were all about the Regilious celebration or social sentiment, than Goff dance will come as a pleasant surprise to you. This Goan dance is a way for hard-f working farmers and labour's to celebrate their efforts. You can understand the Goff dance form to be a celebration of a bountiful harvest that is celebrated by the farmers. 

How is dance performed? 
Like the unique thought behind the dance form, it's performance is a bit special too. The dance performance in two phrases. You will see that for performing 1 st phase of this folk dance, each dancer will be holding a colorful cord that hangs at the center of the mendor ,the place where the performance take place. The dancers than form an intricate braid with the help of the rest of the artist during the performance. Talking about the 2nd phase of the Goff dance performance,  you will now see that the dancers Will move in way opposite to the earlier phase so as to unravel the intricate braid which they at first braided. At the end of performance, after a masterful feat of coordination displayed by the dancers, all of the cords will be single once again.
